A colorful rendition of a spiral staircase inside La Conciergerie, a former prison in Paris, France, located on the west of the �le de la Cit�, near the Cathedral of Notre-Dame. It is part of the larger complex known as the Palais de Justice, which is still used for judicial purposes. From an original watercolor painting by artist Kristen N. Fox, inspired by a photo by her friend, Thomas Burke.
